New Hupei Chinese Restaurant in Longview

The prices were extremely reasonable. Two adults were 17.00 total and that's pretty much unheard of. The food was all extremely good. Large appetizer and entre selection and all of it just as good if not superior to most cook to order Chinese places. Everything tastes really really good! The food is not just a bunch of cheap filler junk. The fried rice, lo mein and chicken skewers are way up there as some of the best I've had anywhere in 30 years of eating Chinese food.

Thum (tom)? Was super friendly and everytime I go in for lunch buffet he knows what drink I want and always gives me a great experience. I've only been in about 5 times for lunch in the last year but he remembers me which makes it better. I've seen him interact with other customers and is a delight for anyone whom he waits on. The Buffett has great choices and they have some great sushi on buffet! Definitely my favorite buffet in Longview.

Great food, service, and atmosphere! If you ever want to feel like being right there in china, this is the place to go!

Despite the sign on the door, the seating was not socially distanced. Back to back booths, skipping none. Also, the food counter (staff serve you, cafeteria style instead of buffet) had only the usual top-only shield instead of having the whole front of the counter blocked, like I've seen other places.

I hadn't been here since they merged with Chen's Garden. After that I didn't like their food, but I decided to give them another try and I'm glad i did! Very good food.

The food was really good. The place was not crowded, it's inexpensive, and they have over 5 different types of shrimp dishes, my favorite!

Really large selections on buffet. Our wait person was extremely friendly and attentive. Restaurant is clean and all staff friendly and welcoming.

The floors and tables were nasty and the food has a weird taste. I wouldn't feed it to my dog

Great family environment with a good variety of food on the buffet. The staff is very friendly and ensures all your needs are taken care of. The waiter was seriously the best I’ve ever experienced. He was very entertaining. I highly recommend this establishment.

The edge and underside of the table is always sticky and the chairs are too! Food is good and enjoyable. I wish they would clean the tables and chairs.

Been coming here for at least 8 years. Food is always good and consistent, service is always top notch. Keep your drinks filled, table cleaned up as soon as your done with a plate. Have handled social distancing and the change from self serve to serving customers very well. Wife always likes the sushi and my son has been eating here since he was two. We tried a similar place in Tyler and were quickly reminded why we always eat here. I would say the Best in East Texas awards are correct.

Very good Chinese buffett. They have all the standards including sushi and they seem to have a better than average handle on flavor. I would have given it 5 stars but the fried stiff wasn't crispy (general tso, orange chicken etc.) and the used cream cheese in almost every sushi roll. Best Chinese buffet I've have found in east Texas.

It's really good. The only problem is there is multiple different platters of the same food. Besides that I've been going there for years and I love it :)

First of all, the service here was outstanding. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as great as I'd hoped it would be. Particularly the Lo Mein noodles were dry and not very flavorful. Also, they need better labeling as to what's what. Some items had no label at all so we had to guess what it was. But this was my wife's and my first time here, so the next time we're in town, we'll have to try it again.

Food was great. We also got to listen to two elderly people blast Donald Trump campaign ads at full volume from their cell phone during our entire meal. I'm generally not used to such fine ambiance.

Went in and ordered a shrimp fried rice extra shrimp no peas or carrots. It was right but the rice wasn't done a waste of 13.00 and gas coming from hallsville spent more $$$ dining elsewhere. Will not be returning panda Express it is

Im upset about the shallow containers. Everything else is great. Oh and I wish they had coconut shrimp. But my family and I have been a customers since I was 11 and im now 35 so they must be doing something right.

This place had a wired kid directing people to seats but was not clear where he wanted to to go. The food was bland for Chinese food. Limited selection. I will not be returning

It's really great the food is immaculate and they give you so much just for $10. Btw the fried rice has to actually be the only fried rice that I just love. The people who work there are also amazing and really nice and sweet.

This is my number 1favorite place to eat. The staff and owners have become "friends" over the years, and the food is so delicious! It is always clean. There is always enough food. We have always been treated very well. I would love to eat here almost every day!

We love this place. The employees/owners are so friendly and there is a ton of choices to choose from. Something for everyone.We felt rushed when we ate here today. The waiter was so friendly and attentive but we felt rushed and didn't like that.

Waiter left tables stacked with old dishes while he sat on his phone. We were seated at a dirty table. I saw it was A Best of East Texas restaurant and thought ok I'll try it. Food was not anything special, and I came home to an unhappy tummy.

Best Chinese buffet in town. Big variety and they use just the right amount of sauce on every dish. Fried rice is great and has a good sushi and snack bar.

Good buffet, lots of soy sauce. Attentive drinks waiter, bus person. Kept glasses filled and plates cleared. Great eggdrop soup.

It was good, the service is excellent, food is good, clean facilities. The selection was not great, so that's why I gave 4 stars.

It's pretty good, sometimes the food is a little on the cool side. And when it's hot it's really good. The staff is always checking to make sure you aren't out of drink and are super friendly.

Nice to go to a buffet again. They serve you what you want. I really enjoyed my lunch. Everything seemed fresher than when you served yourself. Fried shrimp was great. Nice and crispy and hot. Also enjoyed the California roll with wasabi. Best wasabi I have had.
